Superfinishers was originally formed in 1960 by John Bucar in Cleveland, Ohio. This company provided precision machining, superfinishing and honing services and quickly developed a reputation for quality service with personalized attention.

John moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 1982. He soon formed Superfinishers II, Inc. and began providing the same quality and service to the Arizona aerospace industry. In 1992 the company was purchased by Michael Hanshew, who previously worked with John at the Cleveland facility.

We currently offer a variety of services including CNC machining, welding, all types of custom fabrication and surface grinding for the aerospace, semiconductor, medical and racing industries. Our specialty is close tolerance honing and lapping services meeting requirements within millionths of an inch.

Our services continue to evolve and now include our affiliate, SF2 Racing. SF2 Racing is the exclusive distributor of MJP Engineering dynamometers. We also provide service and repair of all types of motorcycles and ATV's.

Today, Superfinishers II is proud to continue the tradition established by John Bucar. We complete all projects with great pride in workmanship and remain committed to providing our customers with the highest quality services and products.
